Lightening Cream

My sister Lisa had a problem and I wanted to help her so I suggested that she try lightening cream. She looked at me as if I was crazy, which was not all that unusual for her as being the youngest she tended to forget that I have anything useful to say apart from the fact that I am in my forties and a highly successful dermatologist. To her I will always be the baby sister.

I pushed on and said lightening cream, I told her that I had noticed that she had hyperpigmentation on her face and hands and I knew that I could help with a medically approved lightening cream. She told me that you couldn’t see the patches of hyperpigmentation and this time I looked at her as if she was crazy.

We stared at each and I said sis I have a lightening cream that can help you please let me help you, this is my profession after all. In true Lisa style she first got angry and sniped at me. She told me that I didn’t know what I was talking about and that she didn’t need the help of a lightening cream and stormed out to the kitchen, we were in her house so I figured that she wasn’t going far and all I had to do was wait.

After all there was nothing wrong with me suggesting I could help with a lightening cream. I knew that the dark patches on her skin and hands made her feel self conscious because they were visible regardless of how much make up she wore. Skin lightening cream I was confident could reduce the pigment permanently, ease the variations in her skin so that nobody would notice.

I heard Lisa in the kitchen muttering to herself and banging plates, pots and pans. While she was working her frustration out I thought of the best lightening cream for her. There were a couple available but there was one lightening cream in particular that I thought would be perfect for her problem.

There wasn’t much banging then in the kitchen and before long I heard footsteps as Lisa slowly walked into the room and sat back in the chair opposite me. She burst into tears and I hugged her till her sobbing eased and she had calmed down. I stood and retrieved a box of tissues and handed them to her. She loudly blew her nose on one and then looked at me, I knew that she was finally ready to talk.

She told me that she knew that I was right and that she would love my help with a lightening cream that would work. Her problem was that she had already tried a couple and they hadn’t worked, one lightening cream had even caused her to break out is massive pimples so she stopped using that lightening cream straight away.

I told her that the lightening cream that I would give her was different though as with anything it was best to test the lightening cream on a small area on her hand first to check that there would be no reaction. I explained to her that we are all different and every lightening cream needed to be patch tested first before liberally spreading it on large areas.

I told her then that I had to go and that if she could come and see me in my office the next day I would examine her properly to confirm the lightening cream that I would give her and then we could go ahead with a small test immediately afterwards.
She thanked me and we hugged, I felt good inside because even though she hadn’t made it easy I was glad that I was going to be able to help my sister with the lightening cream so that her self-confidence would be boosted.

The next day while I waited for Lisa to arrive I pondered our relationship I don’t know why but it had always been rocky. Perhaps because I was very independent and whilst I would listen to the advice that Lisa gave me I would inevitably find my own way in my own very special style.

I had checked the lightening cream that I wanted to give her and I had a small jar of it on my desk. Rather than give it to her I wanted to test a small patch on her hand with the lightening cream to make sure that she would have no allergic reaction.

Lisa arrived and I first examined her to make sure that I was fully aware of her physical condition. We then chatted for a while and she gave me a run down on her medical history. I knew most of it but there were a few surprises there, things that I hadn’t known.

However, none of these affected my choice of a lightening cream for her so we applied it to a patch on her hand and she returned to work for the rest of the day.

I was pleased the next day when I saw that the lightening cream had cause no adverse reaction on her skin so I sent her home with the lightening cream and instructions on how to use it. I was confident that we would see positive results very soon and that this would bring our relationship just a little bit closer.
